The Christ Apostolic Church is distinctly an indigenous African Church. By its structure, belief and practices, it is an independent Pentecostal Church. The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) right from its formation in 1918 as Aladura Group believes in holiness, divine healing, and all sufficiency of God. After its great revival of 1930, where several people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Church combines a rare combination of Holiness and Pentecostalism. The Church holds the position of the first Aladura Pentecostal in the world.




1.     The Unity of the GODHEAD and the Trinity of Person therein.

2.     The utter wickedness of human nature, the necessity of repentance and regeneration; and eternal doom of the final impenitent.

3.     The Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Atoning Death, Triumphant Resurrection, Ascension and abiding intercession of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS Second Coming and Millennial Reign upon earth.

4.     Justification and sanctification of the believers through the finished work of CHRIST.

5.     The baptism of the HOLY GHOST for believers with signs following.

6.     The Nine Gifts of the HOLY GHOST for the edification, exhortation and comfort of the church which is the Body of CHRIST.

7.     The Sacraments of Baptism by Immersion and of the LORD'S Supper.

8.     The Divine Inspiration and Authority of the Holy Scripture.

9.     Church Government by Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders and Deacons.

10.  Church possibility of falling from Grace.

11.  The obligatory nature of tithes and offerings.

12.  Divine Healing through obedience to the Command of our LORD JESUS CHRIST and faith in His Name and Merit of HIS Blood for all sickness, and diseases and infirmities.

13.  Faith in GOD and the JEHOVAH JIREH to supply all financial needs without going into debt or borrowing money on interest. To be content with having food and raiment.




1.        Confess your Salvation in CHRIST by words and deeds. Acts 4:12; Rom 10:9

2.        Acceptance and obedience to the authorities of the Church. Heb. 13:17; Ephes. 4:11 & 1 Corn. 12:28.

3.        Attendance at all services and steadfastness in the Holy Communion. Heb. 10:25

4.        Acceptance of the doctrines of the church especially baptism by immersion and the Holy Communion. 1 Corn. 11:24; Rom. 6:14 & Luke 22:19.

5.        That you give full support to the Gospel as laid down in the words of God. Gen. 14:20; Lev. 27:30; Gen. 28:22; 1 Chro. 29:14 & Heb. 7:8 &17.

6.        That you keep the counsel and the secret of the church. Matt. 7:6

7.        That you are praying for and helping individual members of the church. Remembering that we are all members of the Body of CHRIST. Heb. 10:24; 1Corn. 12:25-26; 1Tim. 2:1 & Gal. 6:2.

8.        That you strive to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph. 4:3.




1.        Pray before leaving your house for the church. Eph. 6:18.

2.        Be very punctual so as to serve as example to late-comers. Pro. 8:17.

3.        Come to the church with your children and your entire household. Gen. 18:19 & Act. 10:24.

4.        Be friendly with the minister in charge of your church. You need his guidance and counselling. Pray for him always. Rom. 15:30, 2Corn. 1:11; Heb. 13:17.

5.        Make the House of God your spiritual abode. Acts 2:46-47

6.        Do not despise the minister or their work in your speech at anytime particularly in the presence of youths or unbelievers. Gal. 6:7.

7.        Always take your Bible with you to the church. Ps. 119:105.

8.        Enter the House of God reverently, pray fervently, listen attentively, praise HIM with a thankful heart and worship the LORD in beauty of holiness. Ps. 100; 118:27-29 & Rom. 12:11
